The Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI) and Lepharo Incubation Programme NPC recently announced they have solidified a strategic alliance, signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) January 30 in South Africa to foster collaboration in promoting and supporting mining technologies and innovations.
Chamirai Charles Nyabeze, vice president for Business Development at CEMI, and Zenzo Nkomo, CEO of Lepharo Incubation Programme NPC, formally executed the MoU during a signing ceremony.
This historic partnership signifies a significant step towards enhancing technology transfer between Canada and South Africa in the mining sector. By leveraging each other’s expertise and resources, CEMI and Lepharo Incubation Programme NPC aim to create a beneficial environment for innovation and growth.
